Town of East Lyme, CT

The Town of East Lyme has constructed a handicap accessible Fishing Pier at Cini Park.  Where the fishing pier is now was once a swing-type bridge that connected the Towns of Niantic and Waterford.  This fishing pier, a parking lot, close-by car top launch and park (now known as Cini Park) were built as an added attraction to the area.

An education sign was installed at the fishing pier with collaboration provided by the Department of Environmental Protection Marine Fisheries Division.  Funding for the fishing pier construction and education sign was provided by the Long Island Sound License Plate Program, Connecticut Department of Environmental Protection and the State of Connecticut, Office of Policy and Management.
