EAST LYME HIGH SCHOOL and THE EAST LYME COMMUNITY CENTER

Town of East Lyme Schools

Due to many road closures all children will remain in school until safe bus routes have been established.

High school seniors and students with vehicles are encouraged to remain in school or may be dismissed on a case by case basis through the principal’s office.

If you wish to pick up your child, be certain that all roads you will be using are safe and passable.

Salem students have been released at the regular time to return to Salem.

What You Should Do  If Flooding Threatens Your Home

If you think you may have to leave your home, try to do so before dark.  This will make it safer for everyone.
Use running water sparingly as water tables are very high and sewers may be flooded.

Emergency shelters are open at EAST LYME HIGH SCHOOL and THE EAST LYME COMMUNITY CENTER.

Drive cautiously – 6” of water in a puddle can move your car sideways.
