When registering for any of the trips listed below, you can sign up yourself and one other person only. Payment is due upon registration. Please stop by the Senior Center office.

SENIOR CENTER DAY TRIPS

Open to Non-Residents if there is availability

Non-residents will be charged a $1.00 surcharge

Wednesday, February 8^th – Join us for lunch on your own at our own Main Street Grille Restaurant - this will be a luncheon trip only. Trip fee is $1.00. Departure time is 11:30am - return time is approximately 2:30pm. Registration begins February 1^st.

Wednesday, February 22^nd Join us for lunch on your own at Filomena’s Restaurant in Waterford – shopping to follow afterwards. Trip fee is $3.00. Departure time is 11:00am – return time is approximately 3:00pm. Registration begins February 1^st.

DAY TRIPS

Open to any person 55+

Please note, registration for the trips listed below is limited to East Lyme residents for the first 2 weeks after the noted registration date – after the first 2 weeks, registration is open to any person

Wednesday, March 7^th – Join us for a St. Patrick’s Day Celebration at John J. Sullivan’s in Ansonia, CT. Joe Cuddy, Ireland’s foremost popular singer/comedian, will perform his huge hit “Any Dream Will Do” and entertain you with his witty patter & hilarious stories. Trip fee is $73.00. Registration has begun. Minimal amount of walking.

Thursday, March 15^th – Usher in spring with a trip to the Boston Flower & Garden Show at the Seaport World Trade Center in Boston, MA. Time at Quincy Market for shopping or a meal. Trip fee is $56.00. Registration has begun. Lots of walking.

Tuesday, April 10^th – Behind the Scenes Tour of The Elms Mansion in Newport, RI with lunch at the Atlantic Beach Club. Trip fee is $89.00. Registration begins February 1^st. Moderate walking.

Saturday, April 28^th - New York City on your own – Bus leaves East Lyme at 7:45am and leaves NYC at 6:30pm – Trip fee is $40.00. Registration begins February 1^st. Lots of walking.

Thursday, May 3^rd - Join us for a trip to the Newport Playhouse & Cabaret in Newport, RI to see “Death of a Don”. Trip fee is $83.00. Registration begins March 1^st. Minimal amount of walking.

Tuesday, May 22^nd – Come learn more about Boston, MA on this Charlestown & Cheesecake trip with a Charles River cruise – a guided tour of Cambridge – lunch at the Cheesecake Factory. Trip fee is $85.00. Registration begins March 1^st. Moderate amount of walking.

OVERNIGHT TRIPS/CRUISES

Open to any person 55+

Trip Presentations for all of the overnight trips will be scheduled for March or April. Watch for details.

June 19-21, 2012 – Cape Cod/Nantucket Island with tours of both Cape Cod and Nantucket and much more. $399pp double occupancy. Registration begins February 1^st.

August 9-10, 2012 – Lake George & Saratoga Race Track – includes dinner cruise on Lake George and racing at Saratoga Race Track. $275pp double occupancy. Registration begins February 1^st.

September 8-19, 2012 – National Parks of America featuring the Grand Canyon, Bryce Canyon, Zion National Park, Yellowstone National Park and Mount Rushmore. Prices range from $3829pp to $4879pp. Registration has begun.

September 25-26, 2012 – Amish Country and the Millennium Theater production of “Jonah”. $279pp double occupancy. Registration begins February 1^st.

October 17-22, 2012 – 36^th Annual Charleston Home & Garden Tour – 2 nights in Charleston, 3 nights in Savannah – includes air fare. Prices range from $1838pp to 2108pp. Registration begins February 1^st.
